Water Restrictions May-September

Please see below for the water restrictions announced from the City of Brighton.

To help protect the City’s water supply, restrictions for irrigation and outdoor water use have been approved by City Council and will be in effect from May 1 until September 30 of each year.

Restrictions include limiting irrigation to three days per week under the following schedule, with irrigation prohibited between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

  • Even addresses – Sunday, Tuesday and Friday
  • Odd addresses – Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday
  • Unassigned Addresses – Monday, Wednesday and Saturday

For more information on watering restrictions please see attached.

We are also pleased to bring back the Saving Water Incentive Program. This program will give residential customers who pay their bill directly to the City a credit on their bill if they reduce their water consumption when compared to the average consumption for that month during prior years. For more information and to apply please visit www.brightonco.gov/savingwater.

To help track your usage, sign up for WaterSmart at www.brightonco.gov/watersmart. You will need your City of Brighton account number and zip code to register.

Thank you for doing your part to help conserve water!
